  For nearly a century, the city was known as the “Brass Capital of the World,” with a thriving industrial and manufacturing sector. But when the American brass industry declined in the 1970s, the city was hit hard by a series of economic challenges. Factories closed, jobs disappeared, and in their wake, large areas of land were left contaminated and abandoned. These brownfield sites, once bustling hubs of production, became symbols of the city’s struggle to adapt to a changing economy. By 2019, the city had made significant progress in cleaning up these sites, having remediated over 178 acres of land. Still, 140 acres of brownfields remained, with efforts underway to return them to productive use, offering hope for a new chapter of growth and development. Tucked back from the highway, shielded by a dense curtain of trees, a long, low building sits in silence. It’s a flicker of grey through the green, a place the world seems to have forgotten. But to step inside is to walk into another dimension. What was once a series of five long, industrial bays is now a cathedral of concrete and spray paint. The air is still, but the walls scream with color. This is a living gallery, an ever-changing canvas for artists whose names, Taco, Ikay, Jase, Zy, Toco, Cent, Toasty, Soma, Tobe, are layered one on top of the other in a vibrant, silent conversation. Former Bedford Chevrolet Sales Corp

  If you’ve ever found yourself crawling down Brooklyn’s Bedford Avenue, trying to get to the BQE highway, you know the building. It’s the long, grey brick one that looks like it’s been holding its breath for decades. For years, its walls have been a rotating canvas of graffiti, each layer a new, temporary skin. Most people see an eyesore, a relic of a forgotten time. But that building has stories to tell. It’s hard to imagine now, looking at its sealed-up windows, but this was once a place of gleaming new Chevrolets. Back in 1918, the architect Henry Nurick designed it to be a modern, fireproof automobile showroom. The cost? About $1.2 million in today’s money. For a car dealership. TP-Link TL-WDN4800 - 5GHz Not Found Solved! (Hackintosh & Windows)

TP-Link Wireless Card Recently I have been having issues picking up the 5GHz channel from my router using the TP-Link TL-WDN4800 . Some days I would boot up and the computer picks it up from the jump but in the past few days, it would give me network errors dropping downloads and the Internet connection itself. At first, I thought it was my ISP but my Samsung S7 Edge and Apple iPad Mini 4 all seemed to be finding the 5GHz channel with ease. I did some Google-fu and found it has to deal with how the NIC picks up 2GHz/5GHz channels sent out from your router. I believe my ISP router was switching to higher channels on the 5GHz channel automatically and causing network errors when I was downloading huge files over WiFi from either compensating with the huge network downloads (2GB and up) or from the surrounding competing neighboring routers on my street. I changed out from the boxy router that was provided by my ISP and switched it out with a Netgear Nighthawk R6700...
